We absolutely loved this Greek point in the heart of Ramsgate. The service was excellent and the food was superb ! We had a souvlaki and it had so much chicken we loved it !

What a great find! This place is dog friendly (both inside & out) and serves good Greek food. A family run business, George will greet you with free food for you and your pooches. Having been kicked out of other places to make way for more boozing or dogs not being welcome, Papa George was a haven. If you are visiting Ramsgate with your canine companions, this place is a must visit! P.S. Please order the baclava, it’s homemade and absolutely delicious!
Great little find it's more a takeaway but saying that they had some small tables which we sat down and ate on ... very much tasted of greece I'd go back as all were friendly

My friends and I were visiting Ramsgate and I walked past here and loved the look of it, so went in for some food. I wasn't disappointed as George is an absolute legend and the food was so so tasty! Everyone was so welcoming and the price was very reasonable. If you're in Ramsgate and fancy dinner, head here!
I've never been in Papa George, as we usually get a takeaway. But the food is always good, usually get the chicken box with pitta bread & a side salad. Which is value for money.
A fantastic experience from start to finish, Papa George himself poured us shots, gave us complimentary deserts and nibbles for the table. The atmosphere is very homey and feels like you could easily be in a family kitchen. Definitely a gem of Ramsgate and the dining in experience is the best way to experience the lovely staff and host! Couldn't have been happier.
